There's Nothing Toxic About Masculinity

 In today's world, the idea of toxic masculinity surrounds us. Toxic masculinity is universally defined as  as   the archetypal image of what it  means  to be  masculine  becomes harmful and aspirational. It thrives by penalizing behavior which  does  not conform to its standard and celebrating behavior which  does . My question is is there something wrong about ambition and wanting to get up in the morning and wanting to take your place in society? I feel as if the idea of this toxic masculinity is saying that society is an oppressive patriarchy  responsible for everything that is wrong in today's  world, when that is not the case at all.   The masculine spirit is extremely necessary. It is not fundamentally rape culture, it is not fundamentally world destroying.  When was the last time you had a conversation where you walked away thinking, "Wow, that was productive." For many, you might not remember a time like this. As for me, I try to learn and take away something from every conversation in which I am involved in, and Celeste Headlee wants you to do the same.  Celeste Headlee, an award-winning journalist, author, and accomplished speaker shares advice on how to act, and how to carry a conversation more professionally.   Many people, including myself before watching this video, think they know how to properly talk and listen during a conversation, when in reality it is way more than just talking and listening that goes into this proper conversation.  Celeste Headlee is ultimately teaching the viewer how to "interview" someone they are talking to. Now many of us have had productive, engaging, moving conversations that leave you thinking and wondering why every conversation can't go as smooth as that. Well...

 When thinking of teenagers nowadays, they pay attention to social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter. For teens, blogs may be considered a pastime. As for me, I do not pay attention to blogs or read them in my spare time, Although I found that blogs can provide massive amounts of information and have lots of educational value. These following three blogs that I have stumbled upon are some blogs that I have taken my time to read, and that I have learned a lot from, as well as blogs that I can take from and devolp my blog.
